Nature Adventurers
Young explorers (ages 3-5) accompanied by an adult will have an exciting time exploring a different natural topic each visit. Summer Adventure Reading Club
Explore one adventure book a month followed by activities, games and snacks that relate to that month’s story. All books must be read before class, and can be found at local libraries or purchased online. Some copies may be available for loan; please check with center for details. Students that attend all three sessions will receive a special prize at the last class.$12/session

Wood Lake Book Club
Join other adults to discuss some wonderful environmental and outdoor recreation-based books. Refreshments will be provided. All are welcome! Most books are available at local libraries. Register online and either pay now or at the door. Friends of Wood Lake Members are admitted for free.

Friends of Wood Lake Fundraising Dinner-Fri, 4/26/19, 6:00-9:30 pm, $60
Enjoy a great dinner, great speaker, silent auction, ticket prizes, and cash bar while meeting new friends who also support this gem in the midst of the city. Dr. Jean Larson will give her speech, "Nature as Remedy.” Dr. Larson is on the faculty of Minnesota LandscapeArboretum and the University of Minnesota, specializing in nature-based therapeutics. Joining us this year as the evening’s MC will be TV and Radio personality Nancy Nelson. Be a part of FOWL’s biggest event of the year!
